Tomorrow VSP Vision™ will announce it is updating provider programs, including VSP Premier Edge™ and Unity® Savings, to simplify the provider experience while delivering value and support to network doctors. VSP® is committed to supporting network doctors through this transition and making it even easier for practices to maximize the full value of their VSP relationship with opportunities for increased patient flow, and greater profitability.

As a VSP Ambassador, we want to share this with you first, as well as some additional information to support conversations or questions from your peers. We’ll connect you with your representative to ensure you have the needed resources and support. We’ll also make this a topic on the Q4 Ambassador calls in November. If you are traveling to Vision Expo West this week, we encourage you to connect with your reps at the show with any questions.

Evolving Premier Edge

VSP Premier Edge delivers exclusive benefits and services that help sharpen practices’ competitive advantage with opportunities for more patients, profits, and support. Premier Edge continues to evolve to meet the needs of VSP network doctors, clients, and members.

Beginning in 2025, practices can receive gold and platinum benefits more simply. Program updates will include:

No more lens purchases or flex spend targets required for program participation.
A focus on frame purchases and offering consumer convenience requirements.
The annual Premier Edge assessment on December 31, 2024, that determines Premier Edge level, will be based on the new criteria. Since meeting the gold level is a criteria for the Ambassador Program, we’ll support you to ensure you’re reaching the new targets.
Extra Lens Savings ends – a new Unity Rewards program will offer simplified savings to all VSP network providers, replacing Unity Savings.

New Unity Rewards Program

VSP network doctors will soon receive lens rewards through a new Unity Rewards program.

While the VSP lab network may look different, practices will now earn and receive points on Unity products ordered through the Unity distributor lab network.
The New Unity Rewards program will be similarly structured to the old VSPOne Lab Rewards and Unity Savings programs. If doctors currently have a VSPOne Lab Rewards account, it will seamlessly transfer to the new rewards program.
Practices will now enjoy expanded access to a network of Unity distributor labs who are certified to produce the full suite of Unity products that continue to grow in popularity.
