PROPRIETARY AND CONFIDENTIAL.
Later today, we will publicly announce that VSP Vision™ has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Marcolin. The acquisition of Marcolin, a global leader in eyewear design, manufacturing, and distribution, will mark a significant eyewear investment by VSP Vision to provide even more value to its stakeholders.
VSP is always evaluating opportunities that allow us to provide more value for VSP members, clients and network doctors. With a shared goal of delivering high-quality eyewear, bringing together strong brand portfolios from Marchon and Marcolin will create access to a comprehensive brand portfolio with luxury, lifestyle, and performance offerings that meets the diverse and evolving needs of your patients.
Founded in Northern Italy in 1961, Marcolin’s eyewear collections are distributed in more than 125 countries. Its portfolio of luxury and lifestyle brands includes, among many others, Tom Ford, Zegna, Christian Louboutin, Guess, ic! berlin, Max Mara, and Guess.
This information will be shared via email with all VSP network doctors this morning and is expected to run in VMail today. As a VSP Ambassador, we want to share this with you in advance along with some high-level talking points to support conversations or questions from your peers.
